Meet Dr. Shauna…

Dr. Shauna Moore Reynolds has more than 20 years of experience in "Making Change Happen!" She delivers inspiring keynote speeches to motivate the masses, conducts corporate training to facilitate change, coaches clients to the next level, and provides mental health counseling to those suffering from anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic stress. Dr. Shauna is a highly requested speaker, presenter, and trainer and regularly works with local, county, state, and federal governments, public and private schools, colleges and universities, for-profit and non-profit businesses, organizations, and houses of worship.

When she is not speaking, consulting, and coaching, Dr. Shauna is the Chief Executive Officer of SMR Counseling Services, LLC. She holds a doctorate degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Texas Southern University, a master's degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from The University of Houston-Downtown, and a certificate in the Fundamentals of Human Resource Management from Rice University. Dr. Shauna is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LCPC-S) in Maryland, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington, D.C., an NBCC National Certified Counselor (NCC), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).

Dr. Shauna has received numerous awards and accolades from many sources, including recognition from The Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, The Washington D.C. Attorney General's Office, The U.S. Attorney's Office, and induction into the Chi Sigma Iota counseling honor society. She was also the 2018 winner of the Maryland Counseling Association Outstanding Mental Health Professional Award. Dr. Shauna has served her community by discussing the importance of mental health care and self-care. She also holds positions as a Mental Health First Aid Facilitator and Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Volunteer and continues to be a source of support and mentorship for master's level mental health counseling interns and pre-licensed and post-licensed counselors.

During her time of government service, Dr. Shauna has held positions at the Texas Department of Health and Human Services, the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, The Washington, D.C. Attorney General's Office, The United States Attorney's Office, and The Department of Justice. She is a former Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of Education and a former Associate Professor at Loyola University of Maryland in the Department of Pastoral Counseling.
